Since 01/04/2025 in a dual role at TTTech Auto: CEO and CTO Dr Stefan Poledna.

The Austrian software provider TTTech Auto has undergone a personnel change at the leadership level: Dr. Stefan Poledna, co-founder and former Chief Technology Officer (CTO), has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective 1 April 2025.

Poledna will continue to serve as CTO. He is to ensure a smooth integration of TTTech Auto into NXP after the completion of the transaction and receipt of the usual regulatory approvals.

The leadership change follows the departure of Dr. Dirk Linzmeier, who led the company as CEO from October 2022 until the end of March this year.

Who is Stefan Poledna?

Poledna brings over 30 years of experience in the development of automotive systems and software to his expanded role. Among other things, he led the development of the safety middleware platform for the first true ADAS domain controller.

Poledna received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in computer science with distinction from the Technical University of Vienna, where he also teaches reliable computer systems. In addition, he is the author and co-author of more than 80 patents and numerous publications.

What is TTTech Auto specialised in?

The Vienna-based software company specialises in safe software platforms for automated driving and driver assistance systems (ADAS). It was founded in 2018 as a spin-off of the TTTech Group, which in turn has a long history in the field of safety-critical networks and systems - for example, in aviation or industrial automation.

The core of TTTech Auto is the software platform MotionWise, which was specifically developed for use in vehicles. The middleware, which has also attracted the interest of the new parent company NXP, connects and orchestrates safety-critical functions such as lane-keeping assistants, automatic braking, or autonomous driving. It is used, among other things, in Audi's central control unit zFAS, which is used in models like the A8.
